I have been wathching the Dr Phil Show lately... and noticed.. that:

Although he is qualied as pyschologist.. with a PHD... giving himself the title of Dr.... It appears to me that he is just giving his guests...solutions to major problems in his life with common good sense... whihc in any sound culture is built on..


His guests, usually chosen from the " decent" elements of the society.. meaning that they are not ignorant enough to appear on the ricki lake, maury povich or montell Williams show... are far away from the cultural ideal of the innocent America of the 1960s.. which was just few decade.

The class of people who are endless in quantity.. to keep the show running... as I mentioned are above the repulsive and overwhelming ignorant nature of the other shows I mentioned.... this class is till far removed from.. than the santified and world advertiseed description of America..which features:

apple pies, baseball, Christmas trees... and etc....

So if the Decent people have fallen ... what do u call the sizey amount of those who are far beneath them...?

Dr Phil is aimed at a decent audience.. just a step beneath Oprah...

Is this class the real... "average American"

Despite how freigtening the demoralized nature of the guests are... Dr Phils Nature matches that of the traditional ideal of integrity.. which seems to signify that.. what was the average american.. in the 1960s.. is only preserved as an rarity.. an elite remnant in todays society...perhaps only capable of being prserved throught PHds level of educational preparation...

The Straight and Narrow..

Since Ahmadinejad, President of Iran , started receiveing top priority in American news , filling in the role as the next top villain in the " War on Terror"... It has been interesting to note how his media profile has been developed.

The most notable that stands out to me .. is the recurring quote that never leaves that everyone American journalist mentions when summarizing him....

" there are no Gays in Iran " ~ ahmadinejad

Such a statement in the American progressive modern culture of sensitivity is enough enough to discredit any reputable public figure.

Even those American figures who are sincerely repulsed by the concept of Gays... who make an impulse comment that expose their true bias.. will eventually apologise in American fashion to maintain their respective stature..

Here the same type attack and technique is being used by the american media to villify ahmadinejad to the otherwise un informed public.. to convince the public that .... hes the next BAD GUY america needs to stop...

the suggestion is :

If he hates Gays,,, and he is A muslims... and they are right next door to the other " terrorists:.....he must likely be a terrorist himself ... or just a BAAAAD guy...so us Americans need to put a stop to him...


This technique in the media is really exposing how powerful... the propanda machine of the "War on Terror" really is... which was launced in 2001...

Petty propoganda like this is enough to arm the Govt of America with additional public sentiment and favor to plunder another muslim country.....


Americans ... for the most part.. from all classes.. from doctors, lawyers.. to plumbers and truck drivers... have no independent access to the culure and political background of the Muslim Middle East and have to rely on the media .. to make their mind...

THe media has been in completely successfull in preventing the public from have any thing close to credbile understanding the to the background to the reality of the Muslim Middle East.

ahmadinejad has made himself accessible to more rich discussion about all relevant topics that any other " questionable " head of state... invovled in the Muslim region.

All the points of information he has given to the westerdn audience to inform them of the reality has been ignored by the media... and he is still reduced to being identified by villyfyin quotes like this one...

This just serves to make him and the entire muslim world appear ignorant and beneath the standard of " development" of the " west".

A Singhala director has made a bold polical film....

depicting a scenario of the political revolution in the Tamil Region of Sri Lanka.

The film is titled "Pirabaharan" and is made by Thusara Peiries. The name is a reference to the leader of the political revolution and the founder of the military faction that leads the way, the Tamil Tigers.

I have not seen the film yet.. .but hope to.

In the legitimate press or western approved press... I have strongly felt that the Tamil Eelam crisis has been deliberately ignored from media coverage.

The official Indian government policy has been against the Tamil Tigers.. but the Sentiments of the Tamil Nadu Regional Govt has been in strong support of the movement..

Infact the the Tamil Nadu Govt has been the only thing close to to "state" in support of the movement.

Naturally the Sri Lanakan Govt which is that reprseenting Singhala identity is the rival in the causes of disputes that have produced the War.

Now suddenly there is open expression of favor towards a side in the war.... from many parties expressed through their repsonse in the film.

The tamil nadu personalities that were invited for viewing have cohesively smashed the message of the film as they naturally found it insulting the dignity of tamil people.


It is interesting to note what postition the director has taken on the film.

He has said he is neutral on the political front and that the film does not attack anybody.

His intentions are most interesting as he has only put himself in centre of controversies that
